Know AML is saddened to announce the passing of our co-chair Valerie Fons. Valerie was an integral part of the Know AML initiative from the beginning, helping to provide a patient perspective of acute myeloid leukemia. We thank Valerie for all her hard work and support and send our condolences to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace and her story never be forgotten.

This site is a tribute to Valerie Fons, who was born on February 16, 1951. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
